On the 15^th of May, 2015, the China Federation of Social Work held its 1^st Council meeting in Beijing. The meeting has examined and passed << Membership Management Measure of the China Federation of Social Work>>, the Councilelected Mr. Gong Puguang, the vice Minister of Civil Affairs Ministry of P.R.C to be the Chairman of the Federation of Social Work, Mr. Chen Guangyao along with 14 more to be the executive member of the council, and another 29 members to be the representatives of the executive members.

Former Chairman of the Federation of Social Work, Mr. XuRuixin has briefed the council the development history of the association, summarized its comprehensive work in the area of, theory research, membership management, personal training and etc. At last, Mr. Xu also expressed his confidence in the newly elected Chairman, Mr. Gong Puguang that he will lead the team to enhance social development, to innovate social management and to further contribute in developing Chinese-featured social work.
